Wagner can't leave home - help build a ramp
Help Wagner regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇧🇷 Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil851 views
Wagner has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Wagner can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Wagner's family will cook lunch for the team.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hope it all works out, Valentina. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
rooting for you. Get well soon. Don't give up. All the best.
You're not alone, Valentina. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Irapuato
best of luck, Valentina. Shared it with a few friends. After 13 years in teaching I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Greetings from Nairobi
Best of luck. This could happen to any of us. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Caxias do Sul!
Hope things get better soon, Valentina. I hope things turn around soon.
Best of luck, Valentina. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Love from Wollongong
Rooting for you, Valentina. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. It's not much but it's yours
Hope it all works out, Valentina. This could happen to any of us. Love from Fresno.
Keep going. Hope the doctors have good news. Put this on a community board in Siliguri this morning. God bless
Your post was clear and honest. My neighbor in Celaya donated after I showed her your page.
Take care, Valentina. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Take care.
