Vrushali served ten years; now needs help to get home
After ten years of service, Vrushali is raising funds for a first month of rent and transport to job interviews.

I served ten years in the infantry and was discharged in 2025 with hearing damage and PTSD. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote I have comes to $500.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $500 goes:
• Transport to appointments: $45
• Essential household items: $60
• Housing deposit and first month: $395
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

So sorry you're going through this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Nagpur.
