Volunteers wanted: Wyatt's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Belfast: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 74 and I have lived in this house in Belfast for 27 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hope things get better soon. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best
So sorry you're going through this. Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from Bengaluru
Thanks for sharing this, Wyatt. This could happen to any of us. We're a small family in Kampala but we're thinking of you.
Shared this with my family. After 29 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Belfast
sending good thoughts, Wyatt. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I'll check back for the next update.
