Volunteers wanted: Waylon's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Birmingham: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 73 and I have lived in this house in Birmingham for 32 years. After the storm in December, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you for reading my story.

Sending love, Waylon. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I hope March is when things finally get easier. Blessings.
So sorry you're going through this, Waylon. Hope the doctors have good news
Wishing you the best, Waylon. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Wish I lived closer to Naivasha so I could bring a meal. Love from Warsaw.
gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Pune.
Thinking of you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Aurangabad so I could bring a meal. Blessings.
