Volunteers wanted: Vipul's yard after the storm
Vipul, 74, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 74 and I have lived in this house in Nagpur for 33 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you for reading my story.

I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Love from Birmingham.
Keep going. Looking forward to the next update. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Nagpur
Thinking of you and your family, Vipul. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in Manila but we're thinking of you.
