Volunteers wanted: Shakil's yard after the storm
Shakil, 87, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 87 and I have lived in this house in Mumbai for 46 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Glad we found this place.

Hope things get better soon, Shakil. I hope things turn around soon. Take care.
take care, Shakil. It takes guts to ask. Well done. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Likoni
