Volunteers wanted: Sebastian's yard after the storm
Sebastian, 71, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.
🇵🇱 Gliwice, Silesia, Poland951 views
I'm 71 and I have lived in this house in Gliwice for 28 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

You're not alone. This could happen to any of us. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you
Keep going, Sebastian. Hope you get there!
hope things get better soon, Sebastian. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I hope July is when things finally get easier. God bless.
Stay strong. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best.
