Volunteers wanted: Polina's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Yekaterinburg: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 84 and I have lived in this house in Yekaterinburg for 28 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I hope life is good to you.

Best of luck. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from São Paulo.
