Volunteers wanted: Peng's yard after the storm
Peng, 81, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 81 and I have lived in this house in Saskatoon for 44 years. After the storm in March, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
