Volunteers wanted: Nanami's yard after the storm
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Nanami's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 75 and I have lived in this house in Yokohama for 27 years. After the storm in December, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I hope life is good to you.

Sending strength, Nanami. Your post was clear and honest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Stay strong, Nanami. Shared it with a few friends.
It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Buffalo
Thanks for sharing this. This could happen to any of us. I hope April is when things finally get easier.
