Volunteers wanted: Maryam's yard after the storm
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Maryam's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 73 and I have lived in this house in Gujranwala for 31 years. After the storm in September, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
