Volunteers wanted: Manuel's yard after the storm
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Manuel's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.
🇵🇭 Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines1,101 views
I'm 76 and I have lived in this house in Quezon City for 49 years. After the storm in December, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I hope life is good to you.

Hope things get better soon, Manuel. Hope the doctors have good news. We're a small family in Dehiwala but we're thinking of you.
So sorry you're going through this, Manuel. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I have a 5 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Take care.
Thinking of you and your family. I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in San Francisco but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Quezon City
