Volunteers wanted: Mana's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Shinjuku: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 74 and I have lived in this house in Shinjuku for 37 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Wishing you the best, Mana. Hope the doctors have good news. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless.
So sorry you're going through this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'll check back for the next update
Keep going, Mana. Hope this works out for you.
shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.

So sorry you're going through this, Mana. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings.
Hope things get better soon. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
I hope things turn around soon. Please keep us posted. Love from Faisalabad
Sending love. This could happen to any of us. We're a small family in Essen but we're thinking of you.
