Volunteers wanted: Mahesh's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Mumbai: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 92 and I have lived in this house in Mumbai for 41 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 3–5 hours
- format
- In person in Mumbai
- skills

Sending strength. Hope the doctors have good news. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best.
stay strong. This could happen to any of us. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
Thinking of you and your family, Mahesh. Wishing Mahesh a smooth procedure and a full recovery. God bless.
