Volunteers wanted: Maciej's yard after the storm
Maciej, 77, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 77 and I have lived in this house in Leicester for 42 years. After the storm in September, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Sending love, Maciej. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
best of luck, Maciej. Your post was clear and honest. Don't give up. Take care.
Good luck. This could happen to any of us. My husband and I read this together. Take care
shared it with a few friends. We're a small family in Addis Ababa but we're thinking of you. Love from Addis Ababa.
