Volunteers wanted: Junaid's yard after the storm
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Junaid's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 91 and I have lived in this house in Karachi for 25 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thinking of you, Junaid. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care.
best of luck, Junaid. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Karachi.
