Volunteers wanted: Isla's yard after the storm
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Isla's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 79 and I have lived in this house in Sacramento for 48 years. After the storm in February, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thanks for being kind about this.

You're not alone, Isla. Get well soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
Hope things get better soon, Isla. I hope things turn around soon. God bless
Hope things get better soon. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Love from Adelaide.
Wishing Isla a smooth procedure and a full recovery. God bless.
Stay strong. Shared this with my family. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day!
Good luck. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Love from Seongnam.
