Volunteers wanted: Isabel's yard after the storm
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Isabel's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 75 and I have lived in this house in Makati for 34 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you for reading my story.

praying for you, Isabel. Hope this works out for you. It's not much but it's yours
You're not alone, Isabel. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless.
sending love. I hope things turn around soon. I'll check back for the next update. Blessings.
Thanks for sharing this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Sent it to 20 people at work
Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.
So sorry you're going through this, Isabel. Wishing Isabel a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Put this on a community board in Bogotá this morning. Take care.
