Volunteers wanted: Helena's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Warsaw: bring gloves and a rake.
🇵🇱 00-562, Warsaw, Masovia, Poland801 views
I'm 75 and I have lived in this house in Warsaw for 23 years. After the storm in February, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you so much.

Thinking of you, Helena. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 27 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
