Volunteers wanted: Héctor's yard after the storm

Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Héctor's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 90 and I have lived in this house in Málaga for 42 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition. The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner. Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do. Thank you so much.

  • Sending good thoughts. Get well soon. My neighbor in San Diego donated after I showed her your page.

Thinking of you, Héctor. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Málaga.
