Volunteers wanted: Hakan's yard after the storm
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Hakan's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 85 and I have lived in this house in Konya for 40 years. After the storm in September, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Chicago.
thanks for sharing this, Hakan. Hope the doctors have good news. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Barcelona.
