Volunteers wanted: Hadley's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Macon: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 73 and I have lived in this house in Macon for 44 years. After the storm in February, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Sending good thoughts. This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless.
hope this works out for you. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too!
Sending love, Hadley. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Take care
Thanks for sharing this, Hadley. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you
