Volunteers wanted: Geeta's yard after the storm
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Geeta's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 89 and I have lived in this house in Rohini for 47 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

best of luck, Geeta. Get well soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Rohini.
take care, Geeta. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I have a 11 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
Sending strength, Geeta. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
Wishing you peace, Geeta. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. It's not much but it's yours.
thinking of you, Geeta. Shared it with a few friends. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from São Paulo!
Praying for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Rohini.
