Volunteers wanted: Emery's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Rockford: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 78 and I have lived in this house in Rockford for 36 years. After the storm in January, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.

Thanks for sharing this, Emery. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Put this on a community board in Belfast this morning. Blessings
