Volunteers wanted: Ella's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Bronx: bring gloves and a rake.
🇺🇸 Bronx, New York, United States964 views
I'm 76 and I have lived in this house in Bronx for 48 years. After the storm in October, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.

stay strong. Hope the doctors have good news. We're a small family in Tokyo but we're thinking of you. Greetings from Tokyo.
Rooting for you. Shared this with my family. Put this on a community board in Bakersfield this morning.
