Volunteers wanted: Colton's yard after the storm
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Colton's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 87 and I have lived in this house in San Diego for 43 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Stay strong, Colton. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't give up. Greetings from Madrid.
Shared this with my family. After 19 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless
sending strength, Colton. Hope this works out for you. Wish I lived closer to Colombo so I could bring a meal. Love from Pelotas.
Thanks for sharing this. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Sandton.

Keep going, Colton. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
