Volunteers wanted: Anastasia's yard after the storm
Garden rescue day in Kyiv: bring gloves and a rake.
🇺🇦 Kyiv, Kyiv, Ukraine471 views
I'm 71 and I have lived in this house in Kyiv for 45 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
