Volunteers wanted: Ahmed's yard after the storm
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Ahmed's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 80 and I have lived in this house in Cairo for 26 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Good luck, Ahmed. This could happen to any of us. Greetings from Manchester!
Good luck, Ahmed. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. God bless.
Thinking of you, Ahmed. Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Jakarta so I could bring a meal. Love from Ciudad de México.
