Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Uzma in Multan
Uzma, a single mother of three, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 2-weekend roof repair in Multan.

I'm a single mother of three living in Multan. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $520, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Glad we found this place.

stay strong. Your post was clear and honest. I have a 5 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
this could happen to any of us. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
Good luck. This could happen to any of us. I'll check back for the next update. God bless
