Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Taiga in Tokyo
Could you spare three weekday mornings to help repair a leaking roof in Tokyo?

I'm a retired bus driver living in Tokyo. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $2,800, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

wishing you the best. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Take care
