Could you spare three weekday mornings to help repair a leaking roof in Busan?

I'm a retired bus driver living in Busan. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $2,150, which isn't something I can pay. The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over three weekday mornings. Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks. The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Best of luck. Hope you get there. I hope November is when things finally get easier

    • Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My husband and I read this together. Take care!

      • Wishing you peace, Su-bin. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Busan.

        • Take care, Su-bin. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Warangal donated after I showed her your page. God bless
