Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Ha-eun in Sacramento
The roof at Ha-eun's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Sacramento. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $3,400, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thinking of you, Ha-eun. Hope this works out for you. I have a 6 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
