Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Asher in Liverpool
The roof at Asher's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Liverpool. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $3,350, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

so sorry you're going through this, Asher. Shared it with a few friends. All the best.
Thinking of you, Asher. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Thinking of Liverpool!
Wishing you peace. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.
Hope things get better soon, Asher. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings.
Thanks for sharing this, Asher. I hope things turn around soon. Take care.
Best of luck, Asher. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. God bless.
