Volunteer tutor needed: statistics for a motivated student in Mapo
Jung-hee is working hard on statistics but can't afford a tutor; 1 hours a week until the board would help enormously.

My niece, Jung-hee, is 12 and in Year 10. Jung-hee loves school but statistics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The board exam is in September.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Mapo or online, for about twenty weeks.
Jung-hee is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in statistics, you could change the course of Jung-hee's year.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Good luck. I hope things turn around soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
hang in there, Hae-won. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Hope things get better soon. Hope this works out for you. Put this on a community board in Mumbai this morning. Thinking of Mapo
