Volunteer tutor needed: statistics for a motivated student in Johannesburg
Looking for a patient statistics tutor, 1 hours a week, for 15 weeks.

My younger sister, Devi, is 16 and in the final year of school. Devi loves school but statistics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The SAT exam is in November.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Johannesburg or online, for about ten weeks.
Devi is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in statistics, you could change the course of Devi's year.
I hope life is good to you.

Thanks for sharing this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Soweto!
