Volunteer tutor needed: statistics for a motivated student in Eindhoven
Looking for a patient statistics tutor, 3 hours a week, for 23 weeks.

My younger brother, Gerrit, is 12 and in Grade 11. Gerrit loves school but statistics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The SAT exam is in October.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Eindhoven or online, for about ten weeks.
Gerrit is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in statistics, you could change the course of Gerrit's year.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

hope things get better soon. Looking forward to the next update. My neighbor in Portland donated after I showed her your page. Take care.
Thinking of you and your family, Marieke. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 15 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Thinking of you, Marieke. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best.
