My son, Heitor, is 11 and in the final year of school. Heitor loves school but statistics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The national exam is in April. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Campinas or online, for about twenty weeks. Heitor is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in statistics, you could change the course of Heitor's year. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Thinking of you, Elaine. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.

    • Hope it all works out. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't give up. Greetings from Mumbai

        • Keep going. Looking forward to the next update. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless.
