My younger brother, Terry, is 17 and in Grade 11. Terry loves school but statistics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the strikes. The board exam is in December. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Burnaby or online, for about sixteen weeks. Terry is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in statistics, you could change the course of Terry's year. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Hope things get better soon. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from San Diego

    • Thinking of you. I hope things turn around soon. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care
