Volunteer tutor needed: physics for a motivated student in Tacoma
Looking for a patient physics tutor, 2 hours a week, for 13 weeks.
🇺🇸 Tacoma, Washington, United States647 views
My younger sister, Isabelle, is 17 and in Form 3. Isabelle loves school but physics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the pandemic. The national exam is in April.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Tacoma or online, for about twenty weeks.
Isabelle is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in physics, you could change the course of Isabelle's year.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Tacoma.
