Volunteer tutor needed: mathematics for a motivated student in Chiang Mai

Nattapong is working hard on mathematics but can't afford a tutor; 2 hours a week until the board would help enormously.

My son, Nattapong, is 17 and in Year 10. Nattapong loves school but mathematics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the strikes. The board exam is in June. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Chiang Mai or online, for about twelve weeks. Nattapong is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in mathematics, you could change the course of Nattapong's year. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

          • rooting for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Los Angeles so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Chiang Mai.

Thinking of you and your family, Chatchai. I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in Kaduna but we're thinking of you.
