Volunteer tutor needed: mathematics for a motivated student in Mississauga
Looking for a patient mathematics tutor, 1 hours a week, for 11 weeks.
🇨🇦 Mississauga, Ontario, Canada377 views
My daughter, Stella, is 14 and in the final year of school. Stella loves school but mathematics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the strikes. The national exam is in November.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Mississauga or online, for about ten weeks.
Stella is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in mathematics, you could change the course of Stella's year.
Thanks for being kind about this.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Thane
Sending strength, Luca. This could happen to any of us. My husband and I read this together. God bless.
