Volunteer tutor needed: mathematics for a motivated student in Peoria
Looking for a patient mathematics tutor, 2 hours a week, for 8 weeks.

My younger sister, Elena, is 14 and in Year 10. Elena loves school but mathematics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The national exam is in August.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Peoria or online, for about twenty weeks.
Elena is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in mathematics, you could change the course of Elena's year.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope it all works out, Zoe. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
