My daughter, Harper, is 11 and in Year 10. Harper loves school but French has been a struggle since the school was closed during the pandemic. The board exam is in November.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Melbourne or online, for about sixteen weeks.
Harper is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in French, you could change the course of Harper's year.

Hope things get better soon. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out.
