Volunteer tutor needed: French for a motivated student in Cape Town
Looking for a patient French tutor, 1 hours a week, for 21 weeks.

My younger sister, Rachel, is 11 and in Form 3. Rachel loves school but French has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The national exam is in October.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Cape Town or online, for about ten weeks.
Rachel is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in French, you could change the course of Rachel's year.
Glad we found this place.

Take care, Hlengiwe. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
