Volunteer tutor needed: French for a motivated student in Addis Ababa

Gashaw is working hard on French but can't afford a tutor; 2 hours a week until the university entrance would help enormously.

My younger brother, Gashaw, is 13 and in the final year of school. Gashaw loves school but French has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The university entrance exam is in May. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Addis Ababa or online, for about sixteen weeks. Gashaw is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in French, you could change the course of Gashaw's year. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
