Volunteer tutor needed: English writing for a motivated student in Newcastle
Looking for a patient English writing tutor, 1 hours a week, for 24 weeks.

My younger brother, Dylan, is 12 and in the final year of school. Dylan loves school but English writing has been a struggle since the school was closed during the strikes. The GCSE exam is in October.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Newcastle or online, for about twenty weeks.
Dylan is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in English writing, you could change the course of Dylan's year.
Glad we found this place.

Wishing you peace. Shared it with a few friends. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Arusha.
Hope things get better soon, Matthew. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Newcastle.
Praying for you, Matthew. Hope you get there. God bless.
Rooting for you, Matthew. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I hope October is when things finally get easier. Love from Louisville.

Take care, Matthew. Hope you get there. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings.
