Volunteer tutor needed: English writing for a motivated student in Barcelona
Marta is working hard on English writing but cannot afford a tutor; 1 hours a week until the school-leaving would help enormously.

My younger sister, Marta, is 11 and in Grade 11. Marta loves school but English writing has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The school-leaving exam is in October.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Barcelona or online, for about ten weeks.
Marta is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in English writing, you could change the course of Marta's year.
Thanks for being kind about this.

As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Wish I lived closer to São Paulo so I could bring a meal.
Hang in there, Mónica. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn.
