Volunteer tutor needed: computer science for a motivated student in Oakland
Dylan is working hard on computer science but can't afford a tutor; 2 hours a week until the national would help enormously.
🇺🇸 United States80 views
My younger brother, Dylan, is 15 and in the final year of school. Dylan loves school but computer science has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The national exam is in April.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Oakland or online, for about sixteen weeks.
Dylan is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in computer science, you could change the course of Dylan's year.
Thank you for reading my story.
