Volunteer tutor needed: computer science for a motivated student in Los Angeles
Looking for a patient computer science tutor, 2 hours a week, for 22 weeks.
🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States1,173 views
My son, Gerardo, is 16 and in Year 10. Gerardo loves school but computer science has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The university entrance exam is in May.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Los Angeles or online, for about sixteen weeks.
Gerardo is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in computer science, you could change the course of Gerardo's year.
Thank you for reading my story.

Sending love. Shared it with a few friends. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
Sending love, Laura. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Sent it to 40 people at work. Thinking of Los Angeles
