Volunteer tutor needed: computer science for a motivated student in Birmingham
Online or in-person tutoring in computer science for a bright student in Birmingham.

My niece, Peyton, is 13 and in Grade 11. Peyton loves school but computer science has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The GCSE exam is in October.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Birmingham or online, for about twenty weeks.
Peyton is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in computer science, you could change the course of Peyton's year.
I hope life is good to you.

Stay strong. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care
Thinking of you and your family, Derek. Hope this works out for you. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
